When upgrading an existing building in terms of fire protection, we therefore analyse the existing structure and the existing uses in detail. The building is considered with regard to its fire compartments, the material properties or the requirements for extinguishing and rescue possibilities. We then develop a custom-fit solution with practicable measures. In most cases, the required level of protection can be achieved or even exceeded with cost-effective means through the conceptual reconsideration of fire protection.
